I’m Alex, a software engineer from Christchurch, NZ. I write software, I run, I like rogaining, and I’m a fan of a traditional carbonara. This site exists to record some of the things I’ve done or learnt, hopefully they’re useful or at least interesting to someone else!
My expertise tends to lie in back-end engineering, DevOps, and system design. I have a lot of Python experience under my belt, and any other procedural or object-oriented language is generally fine, though I haven’t yet tried anything functional. When I do, I’ll be sure to write something about it here!
